Can't see the point of it, rear side doors open into the road over here too :?The words tart and handbag spring readily to mind . 😀

  2. 'The eagerly anticipated MINI Clubman will be like nothing else on the road and defies convention in its concept and style. With its hallmark design elements, the MINI Clubman is clearly a MINI from every angle. Yet it is the MINI Clubmanâ€'s unique rear-end design and new proportions that distinguish it from other members of the MINI family.'

For the new MINI Cooper Clubman model you have to pay $20,600, while the MINI Cooper S Clubman will come with a MSRP of $24,100.

A friend of mine who has 3 grandchildren was very disappointed that they would not fit in the back seats of the clubman when they went for a test drive. Saw one at Malvern last year; in Broadspeed colours!

    “innovative, split-rear doors open”
What is innovative about the rear doors?

Surely its not the fact that they open? And didn't the original Mini Traveller and just about every van ever made have 'split-rear' doors.

That is just a rubbish press release. 😕
