Hi guys, Im just having a random search of my dads old car, when he sold it it was Indigo blue, with a white roof. It had hybrid Mk2 squarer rear lights that he fitted himself. It was sold in the surrey area around Sutton as that is where he lived then. If it helps, for proof of ownership or somethig, his name is Gerald David Collins and he lived in Huntingdon Gardens, North Cheam. If anyone knows anything about this car or even owns it, get in touch?
Hi, just thought Id bump this thread as the cars details have changed. Hopefully the current owner may have joined.
Thanks

Judging by the date of registration it is a 997 Cooper (and it is registered as a Cooper not Cooper S) as they hadn't despatched any Old English White/Black 1071 S's by the time this was registered.

Funny its now yellow, I wonder what the original colour was when the car was new? Someone may have restored it.
Hopefully its not a case of someone finding a reg number that has not been used for a long time and applying for the V5 and building one
More likely it's been restored back to it's original colour if it used to be 'Indigo Blue'.
Could be another FY car on the road then, oh no that will mean FY is no longer a rare colour ;):D
WOW, it's been how long since I looked at this.
The car was originally white with a black roof, then Blue with white roof and now Yellow it seems. Still desperate to find it…
Can't be that many Yellow Mk1 Cooper S knocking about?
IF you see one at a show and think it might be it, please take a photo!
