Ah, those will be the remanufactured wheels that are NOT repro's, according to their flier :?.

They did look very good I have to say and reasonably priced. Whether they are any good is another thing.

I'll let you know soon! I've just ordered one to use as a spare:DThey are £60 on line too.

They did indeed look very good at the show. It will be interesting to compare one side by side with an original

But ssshhh! Don't tell everyone – I want to sell my less than perfect original wheel on ebay before the secret is out!:D

I guess that in this world of ever increasing public litigation they would have to be fit for purpose so if they stand up to the side by side eyeball test then they will be great. Although somebody was pointing out their description was flawed.

I had a good look at them as well. They seemed pretty good to me. They even had the LP883 stamp on them.

My brother bought a set of 4 at Beaulieu in OEW, tyres fitted today………..look excellent so far and should be better than a rusty set of refurbished 40 year old rims with unknown history.

Not seen these close up but judging from the description ….

'When Cooper S first came off the production line, they were fitted with 3.5J x 10 wheels as standard, the 4.5J x 10 wheels were a factory fitted option.
Mini Sport have now painstakingly reproduced the 4.5J x 10 to original specifications, perfecting the characteristics even down to the unique Old English White colour.
These wheels are NOT replicas, they are the genuine article and would be perfect for any restoration project'

….I'd say £60 per wheel is a steel (:P) compared to forty year old originals that need a blast andpaint, if they're as good as they look ! Funny how the price has disappeared from the advert though :?.

I think it is a big pat on the back to MS to got to those lengths, although their sales pitch is totally contradicting, a point that seems too beof more importance to some than the quality of the wheel. As Andrew and myself are in agreement is that if your going to the lengths to reproduce something then why not get it 100% right, I just need somebody to remake 22g232 laygears now to the quality of bmc:D
