1. I wonder how many of the register will be participating in national 'Drive it day' on the 20th April. If your around Mark in Somerset we have 9 classics leaving the Pack horse Pub and travelling to The Hatch Inn for Sunday Lunch.Give us a wave if you see us . Regards Bruce.

I have just spoken to Jamie Davenport- he says they do a Sunday Roast ( if you want details give him a ring and book directly with him ) . The pub seats 30 so if you want to eat book early . Parking at the back of the pub for 15 cars plus spaces out the front of the pub in the village
I reckon my Mk1 S will be ready after a lay up of 18 months so fingers crossed.

I plan to leave from Mark Somerset outside the Pack Horse at 10.30am and I suggest we go via the back roads to make the journeymore enjoyable .If your interested let me know and I'll send you a copy of the route ( not done it yet- just an idea)

Don't know what your itinerary is for Drive It Daybut if your touring Somerset you'd be welcome at the pub I nowrunin Hatch Beauchamp, 'The Hatch Inn', (just south of Taunton, off the A358).

I'll be cookingSunday Roast at lunch timebut will have been drivingeither my '71 Bristol 411 S2or '58 Austin Healey Frogeye earlier in the day.If you've got a 'convoy'heading in our direction I will happily keep the pub open for you and pour some good local real ales, just half pints mind!

Interested to hear your plans.
