Mini Cooper Register
I had intended to start this thread on 1st June but as the final date for tickets without premium is 31st May I thought I would jog your writing hand so that, if you do want to buy your tickets as part of the MCR, you can send me a cheque by 26th May.
This is the text of the latest magazine article :
IMM 2009 and / or MINI 50 SHOW
Longbridge, 7th /9th August 2009
LAST CHANCE TO GET TICKETS through MCR
If you are planning to attend the event and wish to be with other members of the MCR in the IMM village please read on.
There will be 2 enclosures – IMM 2009 (7/9 Aug) and Mini 50 show (Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th only).
The IMM event is a 3 day camping event, which includes entry to the Mini 50 show that will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday. We do not think that vehicles will be allowed to move between sites.
The Mini Cooper register will not be putting on a display in the Mini 50 show as there is a limit of 3 cars per stand but members may be part of specific Register displays such as Innocenti, RSP, Mini 40 and etc.
Cliff Porter & Roger Wall will be based in the IMM village and will act as hosts for the Mini Cooper Register.
Frequently asked questions.
Q. What is the cost of the IMM 2009 weekend?
A. The cost will be £55.00 per adult, this will include:
Saturday evening meal
Sunday morning breakfast
Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights live bands entertainment (More details about entertainments later)
Goody bag on arrival
Access to all areas for IMM 2009 and Mini 50 events
Q. What will be the cost for children?
A. Up to 6 years old free
6 to 12 years old will be £25.00 per child, this will include:
and tokens for children's entertainments both Saturday and Sunday
Q. Can I bring my dog?
A. Sorry, no dogs will be allowed in the IMM 2009 village.
They will however be allowed in the Mini 50 event, but must be on a lead at all times.
The only exception will be guide dogs.
Q. When does the IMM 2009 booking close?
A. The closing date for entries to the IMM will be 31 May 2009.
All bookings will incur a handling charge but if the MCR book as a group only one booking fee will be incurred.
After this date visitors may still book in, subject to available space, but will be charged a premium of £5 for late entry. Bookings after 1 July 2009 will be charged a further £5. The reason for the premiums is that we will have to keep contacting food companies and other companies that are involved in the running of the weekend to increase their capacities.
Q. How do we go about getting tickets for the MINI 50 show with day tickets for both days?
A. You will be able to book in as soon as the MINI 50 site is running, it will be £12 per person per day pre booked or £15 on the day. Because of space limitations club stands are limited to 3 minis.
