Author Matthew Field has followed up his original work, which he wrote at the age of 19, with a new 335-page book “The Self Preservation Society: 50 Years of The Italian Job” to celebrate the iconic film’s anniversary.
The book is based on more than 50 in-depth interviews with the cast and crew, and beautifully illustrated with hundreds of never-before-seen photographs and production documents from the film makers’ private collection.
Matthew will be signing copies of the book along with David Salamone, who played Dominic the driver of the red Mini in the film, at our National Mini Day at Beaulieu on Sunday 9th.
