Cooper MPI Wiper Stalk/Washer Switch
After my daily driver braking and now in the garage for the rest of the week I've had the opportunity to use my MPI for a few days, well I've just spent the last couple of hours after work trying to fix a few issues, one of which is the windscreen washer doesn't work, hasn't since I got it.
So after testing the pump (it works) and then testing the wiring to the pump (it also works) it can only be the switch on the end of the stalk.
Now I know I can get one from MiniSpares for £74 or a used one off Ebay for £35 but my question is are they repairable?
Does anyone know?
Or even at a very long shot has anyone got a spare working one, pretty please?

You can easily test the wiper/washer part of your switch by disconnecting the switch to look connection, find the wires that feed the washer live feed and the e arth (you'll see them colour coded in the workshop manual - or someone with it handy will hopefully come in here and tell us.....) and put a continuity tester across them. Press the washer part and you should get a continuity reading. If it's faulty I'm sure that if you remove the switch assembly the contacts will be accessible somewhere.
Anyone else a better idea?
I've now fixed this, shall we just say the was some user issues and a dodgy connection.
So didn't need one after all.
