Opportunities at the MCR

To get even more from your MCR membership have you thought about taking on a volunteer role within the club??  We are currently looking for:

Events Coordinator – a person to help organise events the MCR attends and coordinate the list of yearly mini/MINI events everyone can attend.  Some bigger events need tables, gazebos, signage etc and this person helps make sure we know where items are and helps coordinate their movement across the events calendar.  Full training given, expect around 4 hours a month in time, remote you can be based anywhere.  Please contact: regions@minicooper.org

Mk3 Cooper S Registrar – this is a high-profile role within the global Mini world.  This person must have a good knowledge of the MK3 S model and are perhaps an owner of that car currently.  The current registrar Simon Wheatcroft will help the new person take on this role. Full training given, expect around 6/8 hours a month in time, remote you can be based anywhere.  Please contact: mk3Sregistrar@minicooper.org

Regional Coordinators – we are looking for people to run regions of the MCR.  If you look in the back of the CooperWorld under Regional Reports, you will see examples of people who are in these roles already.  In brief, Regional Coordinators lead a set geographical region or Country.  We are currently recruiting in the following regions:  Africa, Asia, Canada, Devon & Cornwall, Eastern/Western Europe, Norfolk, South America, and USA.

You will select events to attend in your region, help answer technical question, help members with Mini/MINI broader questions, set up regional meet ups etc.  This is a very interesting role, a great way to meet new people and broaden your mini/MINI knowledge.  This is a high-profile role and successful regional coordinators often go on to take larger roles with in the club. Full training given, expect around 4 hours a month in time (not including time spent at event attendance), remote you can be based anywhere.  Please contact: regions@minicooper.org

Please note – all of the roles above are membership facing and so candidates do need to be easily contactable through a variety of communication channels.
