In 1969. During transition bulkheads and bonnets had both pressings / fixings.

No....... Hinges on the outside will (?) indicate a later car - unless I am wildly wrong.

Thanks for that.....wasn't aware both may have been present on a car.
May I presume my 69 pick-up would be an early 69 then? ( hinges on the outside )

Yes....sorry....meant to say later car....as in late in the MkII run.....late 69.
(I realise a MKII PU is indistinguishable from a MKIII on the outside unless you pop the bonnet)

I might be wrong but didn't the bonnet badge change from the round Mk2 badge to the Mk3 shield type?

Yes....right you are. Not positive if the PU/van used the same bonnet badge as other models. Either way, seems many times the bonnet badges get swapped out.
