NEWCASTLE & DURHAM REGION RUN – SUNDAY 20[suP]TH[/suP] JULY 2008

Iâ€'m organising a club run on this date. The idea is to meet at Morrisonsâ€' Supermarket, Morton Park, Yarm Road, Darlington for coffee from 10am, with a prompt start at 10.30.

The run will cover about sixty miles, many on narrow twisting and steep roads, but at least theyâ€'re all surfaced. We will travel together, so no specialist navigational skills are involved.

The idea is to have a pub lunch, and I will give participants details of the pub, in case they become separated from the rest of us. So stuff the kids in the back of the car, and come along.

If you are interested, please let me know, so that the pub and I have some idea of numbers. Details can be found in the Club magazine or PM me through the Forum. Remember that you donâ€'t have to live within the Region to come.

PLEASE NOTE The intention now is to have a picnic, rather than a pub lunch, but we will stop at a hostelry for suitable refreshment, later on.
