Have any Forumers knowledge of the above distributor model being used as standard on MK3 'S' cars?
I believe they were an alternative that was sometimes fitted that gave better economy due to the advance curve ( and fitted to some hot other morris cars lol )
Do you know if this information was actually documented by BL or is it hearsay?
Maybe the MK3 register knows this one
Come on MK3'rs jump over the fence & help out a MK2'r
Ask on the MCR facebook page - they all seem go on there now instead of here on the forum.
Or try the mk1 performance conversions forum.....
Thanks for the information.
I bought a box of misc parts a long while ago which included a brand new 41372 labelled as a Coopers 's' MKIII distributor which I still have, perhaps Ebay is the site to move it on, hope there are still some Marina owners around, could be a rare breed now.
The 41372 was fitted to Marinas and is often advertised incorrectly as Cooper S. I believe the correct one should be 41033. Mk1 and 2's had the 40819.
