Interesting Website (3 replies)
I recently came across an interesting website http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/ It give information on the number of cars registered in the UK , by make and model, and states that the data comes directly from the Dept of Transport. I tried searching on Morris or Austin Cooper S and it gives me the number of coopers and cooper S's registered annually over the past few years. I wondered if anybody had a view on the accuracy of this data. The registrars might have be able to confirm whether the numbers look about right.
Hi Tonyr. It is useful as a guide but only takes into account taxed and sorned vehicles. When i contacted dvla to register mine as sorned they said i didnt need to as its historic vehicle.. That means there could be quite a few cars not included on 'how many left' as they are not all sorned. But its certainly an interesting site. Regards
It is interesting to note that the amount of Mini Coopers has been steadily increasing over recent years, I wonder why this should be! 😉
