MK3 S (8 replies)
Could the person that bought one of these from forum member 'ralliart_040' earlier in the year PM me pls. Thanks.;)
If anyone has a mk3 s project they may be interested in selling to a good home please let me know cheers
I have one I keep in a drawer, K reg, dated from August '71. Bronze yellow.
Simon has seen photos of it. Needs a bit of T Cut.
Just an opinion; But consider buying one that is already done as prices seem to have dropped a bit with the economy (buyers market) but new parts and labour costs haven't!
They cost thousands and thousands to restore and MOST of your spare time. (I'm not getting sick of it...I promise!...I think... Well..... the expense I am at least.. When will it stop!... AAAAAaaaaaRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!)
Seriously though; Isn't there a nice one in the for sale section just now?;)
Plenty of previous threads on this car !!;)

Re Mk 3 etc ----- I've just spent a whole day scrabbling around the garage floor, mainly to sort outtwin tanks, fuel supply, and related paraphenalia. Not done my lumbago any good at all, but ...TOMORROW....the rejuvenated beast will be blastingalong the A36 at a cool 5750 rpm once again! If the machine plays me up again.....there may be a cheap Mk 3 for sale in the next mag!!!Isn't fettling these lovely beasties fun???
:PCheers to all in the Mk 3 community....Len G, BA27FZ.
