Worn Synchros ? (1 reply)
Have noticed whilst driving my early 1275GT that on occasions ( more often than not ) when making a quick change up the box from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th , I get a noise as the gears engage , alsowhen changing form4th to 3rd .
No issues with 1st or 2nd so suspect worn synchro hub on 3rd and 4th hub ???
Clutch is adjusted so almost as soon as you start to depress the clutch , it starts to disengageso no more travel adjustment available or will end up with a slipping clutch.
How long will the boxlast like this , intend to use it for HRCR day rallies ?
