Hi; I have a dilema but its a good one.

In the search for interior trim (My car had incorrect late model seats fitted when I got it) I have found 2 options.

The first is a complete mint black interior for @ £400.

The second option is a navy interior with one knackered front seat which I would have to have re-trimmed. This option is about half the price of the first.

I would probably prefer the black but already have Navy rear seats and bin cards so keeping with the Navy could be the more sensible approach. The other consideration is that according to the Parnell guide, black trim was deleted in Jan 1971.

Anyone know of cars beyond this date with black trim? My car is July 71 build so I guess if originality is the major concern then I have answered my own question but I'm still undecided about it all.

You could always use an after-market period bucket seat for the driver, then you wouldn't need to re trim that seat.
