Mid Staffs Region Summer Tour (6 replies)
Mid Staffs Region Summer Tour
One of Pete's legendary road runs.
Superb 'Tulip' road book, rally plate, refreshments and the best driving roads, including one lap (12 miles) of the
1950's proposed 'Parsley Hay Peak District Road Racing Circuit' - all for £50 per car.
This will be a great day out for people who like driving their minis.
Book early to avoid disappointment
For this year our annual touring event will be run in August. The general area will be Staffordshire Moorland and the Derbyshire Peak District, with a bit of Cheshire thrown in. The route is about 140 miles, so takes all day. Refreshments are included in the entry fee.
Please see the attachments for full details and an entry form is included.
Hope to see some of you!

Thank you to Pete for organising a brilliant event.
A few pics from the day...
Where was ford?
There were two fords this years tour. A small one in Butterton which runs along the road and is quite shallow. The other (which I think is the one in the picture but I can't see it at the moment) is just off the B5056 near Bradbourne. It is on the lane going to Tissington but at the Bradbourne end.
