Hampshire July club night - Thursday 16th July
This months meeting will be a general natter evening, if it's a nice evening perhaps a chance to natter in the lovely river bank garden.
All mini and MINI owners welcome, don't worry if you've never been to a club night before, we are a friendly bunch and we will make the introductions.
The venue, as always, is the George & Falcon at Warnford, great beers and food, location and more details on their website here http://www.georgeandfalcon.com/
See you there from 08:00pm (20:00hrs)

Quiz will start at around 08:15pm and don't worry if you've never been to a club evening before, we will make the introductions and find you a team to join in with.

[b:sw2m6cqa]BUMP[/b:sw2m6cqa] Just a reminder it is tonight - see you there
A good turnout on Thursday night and four teams took part in the quiz, Corner Quattro, Tony's team, The Famous Five and The Weird Fish.
The quiz consisted of 5 rounds, Formula 1 - What time does the watch on Lewis Hamilton's race glove show? - General Knowledge - Who was the first non royal to appear on a UK postage stamp? - The Mini round - how many bolts are used to hold the differential cover on a rod change gearbox? - General Knowledge - Who painted the "potato eaters"? and finally Food and drink - What tow fruits grow on palm trees?
So you can sense the general theme for the rounds and much head scratching, clarification of quiz masters and general heckling of other teams later the results were announced.
4th = Corner Quattro
3rd = The Famous Five
2nd = Tony's team
1st = The Weird Fish with a grand total of 33 / 50.
So congratulations and a bar of chocolate each to Barbara Alexander, Mike Mark, Mark Feetham, Ian Jarmon and Phil Duke.
Another really enjoyable evening and thanks must go to Sally Salter and Graham Hendra for setting the questions.
