National Day at Beaulieu

Dear Mini Cooper Register member

I am pleased to be able to tell you that our National Day at Beaulieu, celebrating 60 years of the Mini Cooper, is all systems go.

We waited until the latest Government roadmap was announced to see if it was going to be practical to run our day on the 13 June.

The roadmap makes it clear that we are allowed to run the event and the Beaulieu Events team have been delighted with the roadmap measures that allow an event such as ours to go ahead.

There will however, have to be social distance measures in place but our event being just a week away from all lockdown measures hopefully being removed, we do have to comply.

Tickets will be available in advance only – no tickets will be sold on the day at the gate. This is for two reasons. The first is to comply with Test and Trace obligations and secondly, the number of tickets available will be limited.

In the unlikely event that the Government have to install further restriction, preventing us from running our event, full refunds will be available from Beaulieu.

Hopefully we will have a great day and I’m sure the mood of the country will be buoyant as a vast number will have been vaccinated by mid June and infection numbers will hopefully have tumbled.

To avoid disappointment I’d advise buying your tickets promptly and if you need to book accommodation, I’d suggest that you also do that sooner rather than later.

Let’s hope all goes to plan and our Mini Cooper 60th celebrations will be an event to remember.

Regards
Robert Young
