Graham W Robinson. R.I.P.

We are very sad to report the death of Graham W Robinson, a founder member and previous Chairman of the Mini Cooper Register and known to many as the manager of Hinton Firs Hotel at Bournemouth where we have enjoyed so many January Mini Cooper weekends.
Graham owned APD 90H (a MK II ‘S’) for many years, which he used as his daily transport as well as a prototype Moke, and a vintage Rolls Royce.
Following his move to Brazil and his marriage to Edilene, he sold APD to Neil Burgess and we have continued to read of the exploits of the car in Neil’s hands.
Graham died peacefully in Brazil yesterday following the consequences of cancer. His funeral, also in Brazil, takes place today.
I feel sure he is up there now, looking out for John Cooper , Jack Daniels and Stephen Smith and an event to celebrate his life will be arranged in the U.K as soon as Covid allows.
To his wife, Edilene, his daughter Debbie and her family in Bournemouth, we offer our sincere condolences.
