Produced between September 1967 and January 1970,
the MkII Mini Cooper 'S' is arguably the best mix of MkI quirkiness
and MkIII practicality. During this two and a half year period, BMC
manufactured a total of 6,329 of these fabulous cars, this is how that
total production is made up:

Austin |
Morris |

With less than 1,500 cars produced for the home market, the mkII 'S'
is a relatively rare beast. Currently there are 368 cars
registered, a survival rate of 6% of the total production or 25%
of the home market production.
