This Page is dedicated to our First ever Honorary Member Ron Williams and wife Val.

Ron was invested with Honorary Member No 1, approved and ratified by the UK Register at Ron and Val’s Tenterfield weekend away on November 21 and 22.  Witnessed by over 60 people from both the Mini Cooper Register, Mini Owners Club, invited guests and friends, Ron and Val graciously accepted this Award presented by Club President John Heselwood, followed up by an appreciation speech by Ron.

John is awaiting a congratulatory letter from the other Mini Racing Legend Paddy Hopkirk which will be forwarded to Ron on arrival.

Andrew and Graham purchased the car from its second owner in 2002, who in turn had purchased it from its original owner in Sydney, when it was about 12 months old.  It was used as an ever day family vehicle.

At the time of Andrew and Graham finding and purchasing this car, it was parked under an old Queenslander, unused and neglected for many years and completely covered in grime inside and out.

The current high standard presentation of the vehicle is a typical Williams Boys touch at recovering yet another Magnificent Mini from certain destruction.
