TONY’S RAFFLE

Tony’s Raffle was drawn Sunday April 20 at the Meringandan Hotel near Toowoomba as we enjoyed a wonderful run in the country and a luscious pub lunch organised by John Fett and Bob Hooper.

The  lovely Porta Esky which is a soft carry bag containing a thermos, picnic pockets and an Esky base was won by new member Scott Lascelles of Brisbane.  No doubt he and partner Heather will use it in the new Cooper on our upcoming runs. Second prize of $5 was won by Peter Thompson of Toowoomba.  Congratulations to both so look out for the next raffle as it is a great fundraiser for the Club.

Denis Volter has had our Aussie Club Logo reproduced in vinyl stickers which are for sale.

Great for attaching to your rear window  so make sure you get yours at the next run and advertise our Club.

Going at cost for $3 each.

Access the Club Member and Car Register Form by clicking the link at the bottom of this section

This will ensure all details and photographs of you and your car(s) are stored with the Club in a Collector’s Diary.

A copy may even be forwarded to the UK register as a means of historical archive and also showcase one of the world’s rarest vehicles - Australia’s Coopers, Cooper S’s and the Clubman GT, all with their distinctive build and local enhancements.

Club Shirts

When our cloth badges are done in the distinctive Aussie logo, as per the stickers, we think it a better option for members to be offered a nice white polo shirt that they would be comfortable with, and then purchase and sow on the new cloth patch when available.

Colleen Fett has done some research and has come up with a very smart and comfortable polo shirt which the Committee will investigate.

More in the coming updates.
